Dog training

Hi!

My name is Rachel, I`m 44 years old, from Connecticut, and I`m the author of this site. I`ve been interested in dogs my entire life, and about a year ago I decided that I wanted to learn how to train dogs myself. My old dog passed away, and I wanted a new one to fill the empty space. You know how it is, losing a dog is like losing a friend.

I`ve had 4 dogs but I have never trained them, except making them fetch a stick, play dead etc. I thought it was about time to do something about my lack of experience and knowledge in the area, and went on Google to find a solution for my “problem”; the reason I created this website is that what I found helped me a lot, and I thought other people could learn from my experience.

Here is my new dog, by the way. It`s a golden retriever, as you can see, and her name is Tinka. This image is about a year old, she have grown quite a bit. She is really obedient, thanks to the dog training course I found, and I trained her myself.
